PaO₂

Full name: Arterial Oxygen Tension

The partial pressure of oxygen in arterial blood. Normal breathing air at sea level produces PaO₂ around 100 mmHg. HBOT at 2.0 ATA with 100% O₂ elevates PaO₂ above 1,000 mmHg — the physiological basis for HBOT efficacy.
