Adverse effects from breathing oxygen at elevated partial pressures. CNS oxygen toxicity (seizures) is rare at ≤2.4 ATA and mitigated by scheduled air breaks. Pulmonary oxygen toxicity is a cumulative effect from prolonged high-FiO₂ exposure.
